Accompanied by her husband the Crown Princess attended the official opening of the Women Deliver Conference 2016here, in Bella Centre. Before the opening ceremony the Crown Princess participated in several events at the conference with, among others, Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway. Princess Benedikte also attended the event.

Now it is here: the 4th Women Deliver Conference 2016 has arrived to Denmark. Around a year or two ago, it was announced that the international conference would be held in Copenhagen and now it is time. Since the announcement, I have imagined how many things had to get in order before the grand opening. This is not something that happen overnight. And the Crown Princess has been part of the process all along by participating pre-events, meting and all kinds of preparation of the conference. She was also announced patron of the event. Everything that goes prier to the opening, culminated at the moment when she opened the conference with the words: "I - an I believe I also speak and behalf of Denmark, WE are truly honored to host such an ambitious and action-driven conference." More than 5,500 representatives from over 169 differentiation nations all over the world were gathered in Copenhagen. Following the speech she atteneded several events, among others with the Maternity Foundation and Young Leaders, where she was accompanied by Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway. The many speakers clearly impressed the two royal women such as they were impressed by them. At 4:00 o'clock it was time for the Crown Princess to officially open the conference with all it takes. She arrived along with her husband, Princess Benedikte and Princess Mabel of the Netherlands. The Crown Prince expressed how proud he is of his wife for everything she's doing. We are all proud of her, right?

To represent Denmark at such a prominent conference is one thing, but Mary is also the patron, which means she's not only just representing her own country, but everything the Women Deliver Conference stands for: that investment in girls and women makes a difference to everybody. This takes a sophisticated and polished outfit, which I differently think Mary hit spot on with that Hugo Boss (collection: BOSS Black) floral printed skirt, white pleated blouse possibly from By Malene Birger and short black Prada jacket. An outfit we have seen before at a meeting with the UNFPA, here, where she met with Executive Director of UNFPA Dr Babtunde Osatimehin. Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen also attended like he did yesterday. To match the rest of the outfit she wore a pair of two-colour statement earrings. I haven't been able to identify them even though she has worn them at several other occasion. The colorful brooch is the logo of Women Deliver and is a symbol for the conference worn by many of the participants. To carryout her opening address, pen and paper Mary had chosen her caramel leather bag from Ralph Lauren. She embrace the style with a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps that made the outfit complete. I'm pretty sure she is also wearing a multicolour bracelet from Dulong Fine Jewelry. A strong and power look, like the woman wearing it.
